Glad you enjoy it Heather! I completely agree about "being in the zone" when writing. In fact, I use this kind of zone mentality a lot because I practice a blend of GTD and Franklin Covey for my time management of tasks. So I often find myself getting in the zone for many things: coding, writing, designing, teaching, and so on. Its a great way to use the passion when we have it, and to not force it when we don't. Hmmmm, that sounds like a good blog post as well! ;)

Great post - I especially enjoyed tip #3. For some of us, we have to be in the "zone" to write well - which doesn't always happen on demand (or it may happen, and then a client calls with an emergency.) :)

What I'll try to do is write a couple posts when things are happily flowing. That way, I have something to draw on if life gets too hectic to write something new or if writers block hits. They may not be the longest posts in the world, but they're written well - and I can always flesh them out when I have time. :)

Great post!
I really liked the part about posting in the future because sometimes you sit down to blog and get 2-3 posts going at once but want to break them up!

Thanks again!
